Welcome to the official website for
Why nice, intelligent people finish
last in the workplace...
and what some of them are doing to fight back.

(They say good things come to those who wait...but let's not test that theory!)
Let's tell it like it is!!
"The Expendables" is an ambitious documentary and book intended to explore the inner workings of workplaces in America -- big and small -- and give targets of workplace abuse, cubicle terrorism and boss/co-worker-related conflict a voice and an opportunity to be a catalyst for change. I invite you to join me on this incredible journey to a more humane workplace, better relationships, heightened self-confidence and new standards that will actually benefit workers! Access the "Production Guide" (hit the "Enter" button below) for interesting facts about the project and information about how to get involved and make a difference. Or pay a visit to "Speaker's Corner" (hit "Speak" below ) to submit your story, read about other people, gain access to newspaper and magazine articles about bully/target-related issues, make suggestions about what you want to see covered in the project and access chat rooms and forums. While "The Expendables" is intended to tackle a serious, underaddressed issue, we also want the process of its creation to be fun, irreverant, liberating and empowering. Nobody should have to settle for less.
New sections will continue to be added as the project develops. If there is something you would like to see on this site or in the documentary and book, please contact me at 4elyse@earthlink.net. Also, feel free to check out my personal homepage at http://www.geocities.com/elyse4writing for extended info on my journalism and public relations experience.
After all those years of education, skills aquisition, people-pleasing and tolerating the intolerable, don't we deserve the best? You better believe it!
